The Cosmic Cushion and Zabuton Meditation Cushion Set includes one Cosmic Cushion (crescent-shaped cushion) with your choice of Buckwheat Hull or Kapok fill and one Zabuton (rectangular mat) filled with cotton batting. Mix and Match colors as you wish.
The Cosmic Cushion is a unique design in meditation cushions. This simple but amazing meditation cushion is designed with a built-in slope to help you get into the perfect posture for sitting meditation. You will sit fully on top of this cushion. The broad seat and side extensions offer more support than any other meditation cushion.
The Cosmic Cushion is designed with the fill enclosed in muslin fabric and the 100% cotton twill cover in your choice of color is removable and washable. The Buckwheat Hull versions have a zippered opening to allow you to adjust the level of hulls.
Review the specifications below to understand which size will be best for your needs based on your height, weight, and level of flexibility. A good measure of flexibility is to sit on the floor in the cross-legged posture without any cushion. If your knees go to the floor, your flexibility is good. If your knees stay up in the air, then your flexibility is limited.
This cushion can be set on the Zabuton with the back side up and used for the kneeling posture known as Seiza.

Both the Deluxe and Economy Zabuton are filled with dense cotton batting with tufting stitches through the cotton batting to prevent the batting from bunching up. The Deluxe Zabuton has a removable cover in your choice of color - the cotton batting is sewn into muslin fabric. The Removable Cover of the Deluxe Zabuton produces a smooth surface. The Economy Zabuton does not have a removable cover - the cotton batting is sewn directly into the cotton twill fabric in your choice of color. The Tufting Stitches of the Economy Zabuton produces a dimpled surface.

helps with posture and allows for deeper meditation sessions
I just recently got into meditation (about a month ago) and I've been meditated on a chair. I began to realize that in order to accelerate my progress I had to change up my meditation method. I've tried meditating on the floor and on pillows but it's very difficult to find the correct posture. This crescent shaped pillow has been great because it naturally corrects your posture due to the incline of the cushion. The cushion itself is very comfortable and I'm really enjoying my meditation sessions on it.

comfy posture support
the crescent cushion is perfect for me, a not so limber guy, to sit and feel well supported in more dimensions that just my sitz bones. I've sat on round cushions for years, and this was such a nice change. Also the Zabuton is soft but still enough present enough so I'm both stable and released. I felt like I got a good deal on well made, well designed products and the red pillow on the purple Zabuton is a bit of not very Buddhist lushness. But whatever gets my butt into zazen is a good thing.

Love my new meditation cushion and mat!!
I find that I sit up more comfortably and correctly with my new Sage Meditation cushion!! My feet are kept warm and cushioned on the mat!! Perfect for my meditation practice!!

Firm support
The cushion provides firm support and the zabuton is not too firm or soft. The zabuton is good insulation especially on hardwood floors. The two seemed a bit pricy, especially with the shipping/handling additional charge, but they do appear well made and ample vs other places that may provide a skimpier cushion or short on dimensions I like for green color, which is restful and believe I received quality for the price. I ordered the removable cover.

High Quality Product
To start with the quality of Cosmic Cushion and Zabuton Meditation Cushion Set is excellent. I am new to meditation and I was having a problem maintaining the proper posture with make shift cushions; the Cosmic Cushion allows me to maintain proper posture for extended times without any pain or stiffness. It was worth the investment.
