The Cosmic Cushion is a unique design in meditation cushions. This simple but amazing meditation cushion is designed with a built-in slope to help you get into the perfect posture for sitting meditation. You will sit fully on top of this cushion. The broad seat and side extensions offer more support than any other meditation cushion.

The Cosmic Cushion is designed with the fill enclosed in muslin fabric and the 100% cotton twill cover in your choice of color is removable and washable. The Buckwheat Hull versions have a zippered opening to allow you to adjust the level of hulls.

Review the specifications below to understand which size will be best for your needs based on your height, weight, and level of flexibility. A good measure of flexibility is to sit on the floor in the cross-legged posture without any cushion. If your knees go to the floor, your flexibility is good. If your knees stay up in the air, then your flexibility is limited.

This cushion can be set on the floor with the back side up and used for the kneeling posture known as Seiza.

The Cosmic Cushion is simply the best meditation cushion for your practice.

Sitting is Easy on this Cushion

Love the loft and pitch of this cushion. It keeps my knees off the floor and takes the pressure off my ankles.

Most comfortable cushion I have found!

Posted by Unknown on Feb 11th, 2016

I've been looking for the perfect fit cushion to support a budding meditation practice. After trying a regular round cushion and a bench, a chair and a backjack, I had all but given up. This cushion is perfect! So comfortable, I was able to extend my meditation time by 15 minutes on the very first day I used it.

    Worth the Investment

Posted by Unknown on Feb 6th, 2016

The price may seem a little steep for a cushion, but if you meditate regularly, it is worth the investment. I've only had my cushion for a few weeks now, but it makes meditating a lot easier on my back and legs. I can mediate for about ten minutes on the floor before my legs begin to fall asleep. And meditating in bed means a misaligned spine and hips. Sitting on the cushion allows me to keep an erect spine with much more ease. I recommend though experimenting a bit with how you sit on the cushion to maximize comfort and support.

    Nice first cushion

Posted by Laura on Dec 24th, 2015

This is my first meditation cushion so I've nothing (beyond the floor) with which to compare, but I really like it. The posture it supports feels great on my lower back. I'm 5'2" roughly 115 lbs and of average flexibility (no yoga pro here) and find the low loft cushion feels right. I chose kapok fill which feels stiff and supportive but not hard. I do wish I could have compared to the buckwheat but I'm happy so far.

    Proportions are off

Posted by Lois on Nov 25th, 2015

I have relatively short legs so did not get the larger option on cushion. However, even with my short legs the width of this cushion is off. Seems like it needs to be about 1-2 inches wider on both sides. This makes a big difference.

    Excellent!

Posted by Unknown on Oct 1st, 2015

I just got the cushion and I"m thrilled with it. As a short (5'2") and inflexible person, I haven't had much luck with other kinds of meditation cushions. This one is perfect for me.

    comfortable and looks nice

Posted by andrew on Aug 17th, 2015

i got the charcoal gray cushion filled with buckwheat. I emptied a little of the buckwheat out so that the cushion would be a bit more form fitting and feel more stable, once I did that it felt great. I also like the color a lot. It looks really nice and seems to be very well crafted.
