Pi Meditation Bench — A Better Way to Kneel

The Pi Meditation Bench is a handcrafted kneeling bench designed to make seated meditation more comfortable and sustainable. Its unique center-foot design sets it apart from traditional seiza benches — the feet are positioned in the middle of the bench rather than at the edges, so your legs rest freely underneath without pressure on your calves. This simple innovation creates a stable, ergonomic platform that supports proper meditation posture for extended sits.

The bench feet of the Original and XTRA-PI benches are rounded on one edge and squared on the other, giving you full control over your sitting angle. Set the rounded edge down for infinite tilt adjustment, or flip to the squared edge for a fixed, rock-solid position. The feet of the Pi To Go are rounded on both edges.

Each bench is handmade from select hardwoods and finished with a durable lacquer coat, resulting in a beautiful, long-lasting meditation seat with unique wood grain that makes it distinctly yours.

Three Styles to Fit Your Practice

Original Pi Bench — The classic kneeling meditation bench. Sturdy and elegant at 17-1/8" wide × 7-1/8" deep × 7-1/4" tall. Weighs 5 lbs and supports up to 250 lbs. Ideal for a dedicated meditation space.

Pi To Go — Folding — The same thoughtful design in a portable, folding format. The legs fold flat to under 2 inches thick for easy transport — perfect for retreats, travel, or meditators without a permanent practice space. Dimensions: 17-1/8" wide × 7-1/8" deep × 7-1/4" tall. Weighs 5 lbs, supports up to 225 lbs. Always ensure the latch is secured before use.

XTRA-PI — A larger, sturdier version of the Original for practitioners who want more surface area and support. At 19-1/2" wide × 7-5/8" deep × 8-1/8" tall and approximately 6 lbs, the XTRA-PI features a wider stance and solid leg brace for a super-strong base. Supports up to 300 lbs.

Pi Topping - Included with every bench

Extra cushioning with the Pi Topping — a 1/4" foam sticky mat that sits securely on top of any Pi bench. The non-slip material keeps it in place during use and it's easily removable. Only available in the dark color as shown.
